NUG Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration U Lwin Ko Latt said that the sniper Pho Lone, who killed 37 members of the Military Council in one year, will be honored.

The person who wiped out 37 soldiers was Comrade Nway Oo (B) Pho Lone, a sniper from the 3502nd Company of the Southern Battalion of the People’s Defense Force.

“The 6 front-line camps, with the help of an assistant, trained 37 novice soldiers. Comrade who was able to wipe out the sniper during the year. Life-long snipers will know better that a sniper needs to be patient and persistent, day and night, to wipe out a target in the jungle, calmly, and around the enemy camp’s guns.

U Lwin Ko Latt said that the ethnic groups are also preparing to award the sniper Nway Oo (B) Pho Lone.

“I believe that the rest of our sniper comrades will be able to show their skills like Comrade Nway Oo on the battlefields of their duty, such as urban and jungle battlefields. What would be the best way to reward Comrade Nway Oo,” U Lwin Ko Latt, who is also in charge of the Southern Military Region, wrote.
