National Unity Government The first meeting between the Central Committee for Interim Local Public Administration and the Kachin Political Interim Coordination Committee (KPICT) was held on August 19 at 7:00 p.m.
- The UN Secretary-General’s special representative for Myanmar, Mrs. Nolin Heza, met with the coup leader Min Aung Hlaing, which is one of the requirements of her mandate, and the Special Advisory Council on Myanmar Affairs, SAC-M, has issued a statement that she hopes to have positive and legitimate discussions with the National Unity Government.
