16 houses were burned down by the Military Council in Oh Pho Village, Myaing Township

According to local residents, the military council forces burned down Oh Pho village, which has about 180 houses in Myaing Township, Magway District, at around 10:00 A.M today, September 5th. A resident said that 16 houses in Oh Pho village were burnt to ashes in the arson attack.

Pyu Saw Htee  and about 60 soldiers of the military council went to set the village on fire at around 10 o’clock in the morning. The village is divided into three parts from the right place. 16 houses were destroyed. The burning time was almost three hours. “We were able to put out the fire when the soldiers left the village,” a resident, who did not want to be named for security reasons, told.

In Myaing Township, about 800 people from five villages, including Oh Pho Village, have been fleeing the war due to the wanderings of the military council forces and Pyu Saw Htee joint groups.
