On the afternoon of September 4th, in Tharayarwaddy Township, Bago Province, it is known that two people who are known to be messengers of the military council were shot.

The victims of the shooting were Aung Chit Min, the son of Soe Win, the village head of Ma Yan Inn village, and Aung Phae, the village head of Thae War village and Bo Gyi village, who were extorting cross-border tolls from the herdsmen.

“They have to pay extra for the military council every Sunday. I have to send at least 10 lakhs every Sunday. He went to the military council through a rich man. I have to go and pay the cattle and tolls that were asked for. Knowing that, I shot them from the side as they returned on their motorbikes. They were shot on the way back to the village,” said the information officer of the Tharyarwaddy Garun Forces.

The two were shot four times and Aung Chit Min died and was taken to Yangon Hospital in Aung Phae. Last August 30th, the village administrator of the Yay Dwin Gone village group, gangster Kyaw Aye, was exterminated by the Thayarwaddy Garun forces.
