The Kayin Liberation Army announced that 6 members of the army including those with the rank of captain were captured
According to a statement from the Karen Liberation Army, six soldiers including one with the rank of captain from the Military Council Army were arrested with weapons and ammunition this morning (September 9).
The military council force that was arrested near Lukhok at around 10:30 in the morning is said to have been trespassers along the Myawaddy-Walley road.
The statement also said that the captured prisoners of war were well preserved in accordance with the Geneva Convention and the rules established by the People’s Defense Forces.
