National Unity Government Township Court opened in Katha Township

A member of the Katha Township People Defense Force said that the township court of the National Unity Government in Katha Township was officially opened on October 15.

“Cases have been start investigated since before the office was opened. Now the office is open. The cases are being investigated. The small details are those in charge,” said a member of Katha PDF.

The Acting President of NUG issued an order that the National Unity Government NUG has started the interim judicial system.

The townships where NUG courts operate are Tamu , Kathar , Kantbalu , Kyunn Hla , Kawlinn , Banmauk , Indaw , Htee Chaint , Kani , Watt Lat , Ayartaw , YayOo , Tant Sal .In one township court  5 judges are appointed each.

National Unity Government announced the formation of public administration bodies in 29 townships in Sagaing and 7 townships in Magway.
