Breaking News: The military council court sentenced 7 Dagon University students who were leading anti-military activists to death.

According to Dagon University student sources, 7  Dagon University students who were activists against the military dictatorship were sentenced to death by a military court in Insein Prison on November 30.

In April of this year, the 7 Dagon University students who disappeared due to the secret arrests of the Military  Terrorism Council, Maung Kyaw Zin Win, Maung Thura Maung Maung, Maung Zaw Lin Naing, Maung Thiha than Zaw, Than Maung Hein Maung Thep Pain Oo, Maung Ka Lin and Maung Maung were arrested on charges of being members of the Anti-Fascist Armed Forces.

Currently, the Insein Prison Court has sentenced 7 Dagon University students to death under Section 302, and the remaining 2 cases are still under investigation.

Similarly, on November 30, the Insein Prison Military Court sentenced 4 young men to death for their alleged involvement in the shooting death of Khin Maung Than, the governor of the 45th Ward in Dagon City, which occurred on May 24 this year.

In July of this year, the Military Terrorism Council arrested  4 comrades, were sentenced to death and hanged.
