According to the instructions of terrorist leader Min Aung Hlaing, all sailors’ salaries must be returned to Myanmar in full and sailors who do not return full salaries will be restricted from sailing  according to sources .

“Instructions came out from above that we must make sure that the salaries of the overseas workers and the sailors’ salaries come back to the country. The Chairman of NA.SA.Ka instructed. Now they are doing it. They are also making the sailors’ salaries come back as a source of foreign dollar income,” said the source .

If the seafarers do not return the full salary, the seafarer’s work history CDC. There are restrictions on seamen’s Myanmar passports. It is reported that the sailors will be asked to sign pledges that they will repatriate their salaries.

“Seafarers’ employment is fully under the approval and control of the Military Council. In terms of the department, it is controlled by the Directorate of Maritime Transport and the Sailors Division. CDC and passports cannot be issued unless they issue them. In addition, other official certificates and basic 4 tickets are issued by the ministry, so if restrictions are imposed, the sailors will have to return all their salaries,” said a veteran sailor.

Currently, all the sailors are being forced to transfer their salaries back to the country, and they are pressuring them to do so.
